Who this evaluation is for
I provide updated testing for college students, graduate students, and adults seeking accommodations in higher education and on standardized examinations. These assessments are designed to provide comprehensive, clinically meaningful documentation to support accommodation requests, academic planning, and diagnostic clarification.
Some students have never been formally evaluated. Others were evaluated years ago, during elementary or high school, and are now seeking updated documentation. Parents frequently start the conversation on a student's behalf.
What the evaluation includes

- Feedback meeting with findings and recommendations
How the process works
Intake
The intake appointment takes place either by phone or via Zoom. The goal is to gather information regarding the student's current concerns, developmental and educational history, previous supports or accommodations, and goals for the assessment. Intake appointments typically last between 30 minutes and one hour.
Paperwork and records review
College students, graduate students and adult clients complete secure electronic intake forms, developmental and background history forms, and consent paperwork sent through a secure portal. Relevant records are collected electronically and may include:
- Report cards and transcripts
- Previous assessments
- Standardized testing records
- IEPs and 504 Plans
- College accommodation documentation
- Medical or mental health records relevant to the referral concerns
When appropriate, release forms are signed to allow collaboration with professors, therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, academic support staff, or other professionals involved in the case.
Standardized testing
Testing is individualized based on the referral concerns and areas being assessed. Depending on the client's stamina, attention, and testing needs, one to four testing sessions may be required, with each appointment typically lasting between two and three hours. College students and adults are typically scheduled during weekday daytime hours.
For college students or adults, additional consultation, record review, or collateral interviews may be conducted when appropriate to better understand functioning across settings.
Feedback meeting
After testing and record review are completed, a comprehensive written report is prepared. During the feedback meeting, assessment findings, diagnoses (when appropriate), strengths, areas of difficulty, and recommendations are reviewed in detail. Time is also provided for questions and discussion regarding next steps, accommodations, interventions, educational planning, and support recommendations.
Feedback meetings are typically approximately one hour in length.
What it costs
College or Graduate School Accommodation Evaluation: $3,000–$5,000. More complex cases involving extensive developmental history, multiple diagnoses, significant record review, legal involvement, or comprehensive accommodation documentation may require additional time and testing.
Assessment fees vary depending on the complexity of the referral concerns, the amount of record review required, the number of testing sessions needed, and whether accommodations documentation is being requested for college, graduate school, or standardized examinations. Because every evaluation is individualized, a more specific fee estimate is provided following the initial intake consultation.
Services are provided on a private-pay basis. Payment and insurance reimbursement are the responsibility of the client. While I am not contracted with insurance companies, some clients may be eligible for partial reimbursement for out-of-network services depending on their individual insurance plan. Upon request, a detailed receipt or superbill can be provided for clients to submit directly to their insurance company for possible reimbursement.

What an evaluation can and cannot do
An evaluation produces documentation, findings and recommendations. Decisions about which accommodations are granted rest with the college, the graduate program or the testing agency, not with the evaluator. The purpose of a thorough evaluation is to give those decision-makers clear, current and clinically grounded information to work from.
